You missed out!

Do you freeze, people-please, or go silent when something important needs to be said?

For many of us, speaking up can feel like a threat to our belonging, safety, connection, or identity.

In this free workshop, we’ll explore why your voice disappears in the moments that matter, and rediscover the inner ground that make courageous speech possible. You’ll leave with a simple practice for transforming your fears before (or during!) a hard conversation, and a clearer sense of what it would take to speak with courage, care, and integrity.

Learn practices from a CNVC Certified Trainer and Assessor with 20 years of experience sharing NVC.

If you’ve been sharing NVC in any way—and it isn’t feeling as natural or connected as you hoped—this session will help you make the shifts that actually matter.

In this free master class, learn:

In this warm and nonjudgmental space, you will:

Understand why your voice disappears, and transform inner shame into compassion

Learn how to stay with fear, anger, or possible rejection without abandoning yourself

Practice a simple grounding tool for taking one courageous step toward speaking what matters

Jesse Wiens Chu

"I created this free workshop because I believe our world is more wonderful when each of us are able to express who we really are and speak our truths without fear of compromising our mattering, belonging, or emotional safety.

For much of my life, I was nice instead of real. Even after years of learning and teaching Nonviolent Communication, I still would freeze, people-please, and avoid conflict. But as I became a husband, a father, and an elected leader, I realized that those habits no longer served me or my relationships. Instead of living in fear of how others would respond, I wanted to live in the trust that my voice mattered, that I belonged, and that my truth could be a gift to others.

Today, I no longer disappear the way I once did. I trust my voice when something important needs to be said, and I'm able to speak with more courage, more care, and less self-abandonment.

Many of you share the same struggles I've had. So many sensitive, caring people have learned to disappear in order to keep connection, peace, or belonging. This workshop is my offering to those who are ready to find their ground, trust their voice, and bring more of who they are into the relationships and communities they love."
